Smile please for Out of the Hat

Yep Chrissie, Sandra and Janet, from OOTH would love to see how you would use a photo in your creation.
So here is my husband all dressed up ready for Goodwood's Festival of speed .
I change the photo to black and white but it had hints of blue in it the same as the weathered wood distress ink  that I used for the background with a few gears stamped.

Have fun :)

Mono printing

I made time to have a little fun play and mono printing is something I have been wanting to do for ages but I don't have the funds for a geli plate and was going to make one out of gelatine but I wanted to play Now as one does lol, so among all the bit's and bob's I hoard is a silicon mat a bit on the thin side so I clipped it to my cutting board with a piece if funky foam under it and set to.

Well to say you get carried away is an understatement lol here are a few of what I made

Yes my butterfly brain is quite "happy" writing backwards

and one I've used with die cuts

All good messy fun and lots of papers for future project:)

Those lovely ladies at OOTH have set a challenge of "Eyes"

I stamped my glasses and masked the lenses before inking and stamping the background, after removing the masks I stamped the eyes and drew a vision  future  in the other lenses .
