Less is More

Today I wanted to get messy but it just wasn't happening for me lol so decided to make a card for Less is More challenge and this week they are getting fruity :) and knew just the stamp I wanted to use  ( inkadinkado )
Stamped in black Archival coloured with DI's and perfect pearls on the dragon flies wings then softly framed with coloured chalks .

Now how messy can you get making a simple card ? very  lol I droped the chalks on the floor they landed upside down out of the tray and shattered .

Come and get it Technique Challenge

It's technique week at Come and Get It and the faux linen is Cindy's choice
Haveing never done it before I had to research it and found this tutorial at Splitcoaster Stampers

I did start with a black script stamp in the background but with all the sanding it all but disappeared, it does give an interestring effect so hope you will give it a try
humm hind sight is a wonderful thing wish I'd sanded the last stamping on the corners now

Come and get it

Come and get it is a new challenge blog over the pond ( hence the lateness in my posting got the times all wrong lol ) run by some friends of mine and although not my usual style do join in from time to time :) and this week and next they have asked me to be a guest designer . This week Shell has set a sketch Challenge so go and see what they have been upto .
