Almost tag 12

Whilst looking for some inspiration I decided to have a go at Tim's tag 12 but only  got half way through as I  then went off on a tangent and made a topper for a birthday card for a friend whose lost a lot of weight ( well done Karen)

 

Now it just so happens it fits into the Fashionable Stamping challenge ... use a stencil or mask

Challenge 27 Artful Times

This is sure to get your creative juices flowing as we are asking you to use stencils and or masks .
I started by randomly stamping some text and flowers, then painted the background with a pale blue and yellow paint, then using a prima mask, cut n dry applied green distress ink. Next using a brass stencil and more distress ink added the butterflies and outlined them with a black pen and some gold doodling, stamped the orange and dusted with perfect pearls, lastly stamped the text on paper coloured with the same paints cut it up and stuck it to the background.
It measure 7"x7" and was for a swap till I realized I had made it to big duh !!
