Chinese New Year

It's that time of year again when Neet challenges you to make something to celebrate the Chinese New Year. which this year is the year of the horse, but panic not Neet says you can use any image as long as it oriental/Asian

An ATC now I'm not a paper person but  I do love oriental papers and I bravely cut some to make the border, the little horse is from a See-D set from many years ago

A card with the winkle free technique in marmalade and festive berry and a stamp from Non Sequitur

Now pop on over to Artful Times for more inspiration from Chrissie and Neet

Oriental tag and unexpected visitor

Fashionable Stampings challenge is a theme dear to my heart it's Oriental so couldn't miss out on making a tag :) Do have a look at the wonderful creations by the DT
The background is wrinkle free with Squeezed Lemonade and Festive Berry then a a bit of white acrylic paint with bubble wrap and credit card , with the image mounted onto pale gold card.
This little chap decided enough is enough and came in out of the rain lol
Not a very good photo I'm afraid

Oriental page

An oriental flight of fancy for the Lots To Do challenge this week
I have used background papers made with DI ink a bit of bleaching and recolouring again with DI's and a white pen for legs and highlights
