Lots to Do challenge for the next 2 week is to show your favourite card made this year so I choose this one mainly because it's a style I don't do very often and I was chuffed at how it turned out :) stamping, collage and die cuts Oh yes and one of the flowers now made popular by Tim Holtz
Another Tage for Christmas and as this is my 150th post I wolud love to send this someone who leaves a comment  by the new year along with a pair of earing made with UTEE

A little bit of bling

I love to wear a bit of bling but when it comes to cards me and bling don't mix to well lol so a simple card with a little prisma glitter and 3 tiny star gems fits the bill for the challenge for Lots To Do this week.

Lots To Do

The challenge this week is your favourite technique  well thats like asking you to choose you favourite child lol but I love both my sons and all my stamps :)  so I choose to do something I have done for a while the Bandana technique with distress inks and another stamp I got at the NEC form a stamp in the hand and leaves from Magenta . So this is the last page for the 5x5 book swap. I have really enjoyed doing this swap and hope who ever gets my pages will be as pleased with them as I am

There are 10 pages all together and here are the other 2 not yet but now blogged

Zentangle

This measure about 2/12 inches and is my contribution to this weeks Lots to do Challenge .
I love doing doodles.
Here's one I made into an atc a while ago, thought it looked like a bird on a flower

Sunday, 8 August 2010

This is for a recipe swap on a forum I run, we have to use corrugated card, peel offs and lace or feathers, all things I think we have lurking in the back of the cupboard, so I'm going to use it for the Lots to Do Challenge as well, a bit simple but sometimes that's good :)

In the round

I've been away for the weekend visting a crafting friend in Wales ( yes it rained lol ) so thought I would combine a thank you card with the Lots To Do challenge shapes.

All the circles and the easle cards have been cut using spellbinder the stamp is from Inkadinkado and the words cut on the silhouette. All finished off with a touch of distress inks

In my garden

Well over on the lots to do challenge blog the the theme this week is wax and we were given advanced warning so have been working on it the last week, thanks for the push as I have only used it once before :)
I've use the wooden base of a brie cheese box and the image is from a paper napkin, I used bees wax from a local honey man but it's a bit dark . I added some pools of wax and stamped into it with some little hands added a little colour with perfect pearls and stickles in the center of the flower all topped of with a friendly plastic flower .

Thank for stopping by and hope you like my effort
