Precious things come in little boxes

I have decorated a matchbox with paper coloured with Dylusion inks and an image coloured with distress ink for OOTH now what to put inside ! uhu I know a perfect place to put some pearl earring I have made, much nicer than the box they came out of :)

 

Venture into the Unknown

This is a venture into  the unknown as the Craft  Barn are having  an alpha challenge once a fortnight and I hope I have understood the instructions aghh as I haven't used a dictionary but a photo album I picked up at the charity shop, the  paper is a fab and bound in a way that there is room for embellishments and enough pages for the challenge, so an apt title for the first page.
The background has gone through many changes over the last week but I did start off with dylusion sprays and stencils and ended up using acrylic paints and archival inks.
The die cut letter from corrugated card are dipped into molton UTEE with a friendly plastic key and face and a shrink plastic stamp TH bird

Challenge 15 at Artful Times

For the next 2 weeks at Artful Times it's fur or feathers and you can make what ever takes your fancy :) I have made a card using kraft card stamps from dylusions and a cat stamp I got from the US some years ago, nothing to complicated or messy simply stamped and coloured with regular colour pencils and the cats embossed with white wow embossing powder and I did try and lighten the cats with bleach but the card just went darker lol

Just editing... what a ***** I can be at Times first I posted at the wrong time then Thought OMG it's not this week so deleted it only to realise yes it was this week so I'm sitting in the naughty corner :(

Challenge 14 at Artful Times

What a fab array of trees we had last week , a real feat for the eyes :)
Now on to this months challenge at Artful Times a postcard 6x4 and we are asking you to use script text or numbers but other than that you can choose any image you like

I started with a page from a book and sprayed with dylusion inks and used a small alphabet stencil with black ink and I think you can just see the perfect pearls the large text stamp I've had a very long time and I think it's from the then dimension forth, so there I am looking at the background think what shall I add as my image oh if only I had some of those wacky bird stamps but hey ho never mind I'll draw my own ;)So stick to the theme and follow the rules and you could be in with a chance of winning a £10 voucher from Oyster Stamps

halloween

Halloween for the Out of the Hat ladies thought I had missed this one but just remembered a 5x5 I made a while ago and hadn't bloged phew :)

Hope this fits the bill I wasn't thinking Halloween at the time, I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder before masking and spraying the background with dylusion inks

Ticket book

My friends over at Out of the Hat Creations have come up with a little book challenge something I have been meaning to have a go at for ages so no excusses as I am suposed to have more time now I'm not working ha ha where does the time go that's what I want to know ! anyway back to the book

I have used to mountboard tags from the Atristic Stamper inked with dylusion spray inks as are all the pages on the inside, I have used washi tape to bind the back and front together .
Inside I have made the pages by folding the card and cutting with the ticket die and used one of the Kanban ticket stamps plus a selection of my tiny stamps I keep in a box so they don't get lost

Tando and Fabric

I've been following the Tando challenge for a while now mainly cos I love the creations  that Karen makes, this it the first time I have joined in but I'm sure it won't be the last now I have more time on my hands.
The challenge is to use fabric, so I've used canvas for my tag (the sort you buy on a roll) and dylusion sprays in lemon, grass, london blue and crushed grape with the Tando flower mask. The flowers are out lined with dots made with liquid pearls and silver paint for faux stitching around the edge , all the embelishment are stuck down with the cosmic shimmer acrylic glue even the friendly plastic leaf .

I just had fun and made something that pleased me :) so hope you like it too

The dress stamp is from Kanban stamped onto a background of DI inks and stuck onto the TH dress form I did need to alter that a bit lol and the frame made from a Dylusions stamp
