4 x 4 and Try it on Tuesday

At Try in on Tuesday it's anything goes so thought I'd share the last 2  4 x4s I've made for a swapI made the frame with masking fluid and coloured with distress stains and rubbed a little amber green treasure gold in the middle and around the edge stamped the Non sequential image on tissue paper and went around her with a pink crayon

I first colour the card with shades of green and used a small foliage mask before spraying the whole thing with distress inks, picked up some of the over spray on to white paper drew and cut out the house and bird stamped a flourish with gesso and used a little blue Luna lights in the sky

A play day and new Challenge Blog

After yesterday disastrous attempt, to attend  the mini extravaganza at the Craft Barn ( seven hours stuck on the M25 ) I 've had a play. I wanted to see is you could make an aperture in corrugated card and it worked out really well, I cut the surface with a knife and just peeled back the top layer of paper revealing the corrugations underneath, there was no plan it just sort of evolved lol
I'm entering this 4x4 to a new challenge blog for all those of you who love stamping called Fashionable Stamping and their first challenge is anything goes, please check it out there are some wonderful talented creation on show
