Anything goes Week 9 Just for Fun

Anything goes is easy so they say that is if your not on the DT well for me anyway :P just couldn't think what to do as I have been a bit quiet on the crafting front just lately, so I have decided to share with you not only my chicken card hand drawn :) but two other chickens made by my talented friends, we doing a chicken theme for Easter at our local Country Market
So here's my card
Jan's Plate she is so talented and just love the attitude of this game bird :)

and Shelagh's crazy patchwork chicken like the serendipity with fabric.
Well I hope you don't mind me showing off the work of my talented friend neither of whom have a blog.
Looking forward to seeing and being inspired by your creations this week . Have Fun

Serendipity

A tutorial for Just For Fun Challenge

Years ago when I learnt this it was called serendipity now they are calling it restructured paper well that's progress lol

What do you need, not a lot, what ever you have in your scrap box plus copy paper and glue of your choice.

select your scraps and stick them randomly covering the copy paper.( add punch out waste if you like )

Once your happy with the results you can stamp or emboss both if your like to tie the piece together

Now you have a unique piece of back ground paper you can do with what ever you like, cut it up and make inches punch shapes out of it or just use it as a background .

Not got any scraps not a problem :) tear colours out of a magazine

Week 8 Just for Fun

I am really enjoying reading your blogs and commenting, finding inspiration and forgotten techniques. Some one last week tried but didn't manage to get the Jacob's coat technique right, it's not new to me but had put it to the back of my mind and as this, the last week of Zoe theme on Just for Fun is to  a stamp in a different way. though why not :)
You need Glossy card
Dye inks eg: kaleidacolor, big and juice
A stamp not to detailed , a Brayer works best but cut n dry or sponge will do and of course clear embossing powder
I have applied the coloured ink with a make up sponge and  left some of the background white, then brayerd over the top with a blue .
Well hope you like my offering for this week and look forward to visiting you :)

Paint fusion play

I've had a little play with the paint fusion technique and practiced a fair bit before committing my self to a project as I knew I want to do the butterfly, I tyred it on watercolour paper regular card stock and even photo paper liked the look of that :) wasn't my idea but my friends hubby said try and see .
So here's the finished atc

It's on watercolor paper that has been ink and coloured with water soluble crayons
Hope you like my first effort it's very additive lol

Week 7 Just for fun

I  do enjoy visting your blogs to see your take on the on the Just for Fun Challenge and this week Zoe wants us to try a new format . There's plenty I haven't tried, mainly cards but still didn't fancy doing one of those so thought I'd do a triptych, mine is tiny, as you see by the atc in the background, I like little things lol. It's made from MDF that I have hinged it with paper on the outside.
Don't forget to check out the challenge to see what Zoe Sam and Neet have come up with :) at Just for Fun

Metal flower

The Craft Barn have challenged us to make concertina flowers with out the die, I don't have it anyway and have done them before with paper . I loved the one done in metal so took that as my inspiration. I've used the paisley die from spellbinders to make my tag , inked with briliance ink pad and embossed with a pearl embossing powder. the flower is coloured with alcohol inks and the small one left plain
