A box, braclete and cards

Where have I been ? well I spent a lovely day with Lucy I enjoyed watching her work on some canvas using the tissue paper and she gave the courage to decorate my little box which I took with me :) I've used brilliance reinker and distress inks, the images are then stamped onto tissue paper and applied with modpoge I then finished with a coat of spray varnish

Oh I have been busy and not uploading slap hands :) I've been playing with my bird stamps again all the backgrounds have been stamped with versamark and chalked makes such a lovely soft background.

The single owl (free with an issue of Craft Stamper) was stamped onto paper coloured with distress ink along with the accent leaves .the bird was embossed direct on to the card and then stamped again onto another hand made paper and cut out and pieced on. Hope you like them as they were quick and easy to do :)

I finished off another 2 bracelets and I used snap fasteners that I got from the haberdashery shop, again I have use acrylic paints perfect pearls and heat embossed . Oh and a lesson learnt when punching the holes with the crop a dile make sure it's you haven't got the other half under the other hole punch lol hence the eyelet in the middle :)

love this owl :)

On Crafty Us Lindsey is hosting the atc swap and the theme is to use a serendipity background in autumn colours. I love to do this technique but have not done in quiet a while, usually I cut it up or punch shapes out of it so this was the first time I had used it as a background and I'll blow my own trumpet cos I love the way they have come out :) would have loved to keep them .
The owl is from Personal Impressions

I finally made something with the grunge board I've had for ages unused, after watching Sheena Douglas on Create and Craft.
I didn't have the cosmic shimmer products she used so used acrylic dabber and artist's acrylic paint, perfect pearls and regular embossing powder. I also didn't have the fastening so used a button and it works very well but that's me being inpatient lol I have now got some snap fasteners so will see how they work out
