summer for OOAH

Hello hello hello and welcome to Annie, that makes 99 followers :)
Seems ages since I have made something for a challenge and I see the lovely ladies at OOAH have a summer challenge and inspiration suddenly hit at about 10.30 last night with an "I wonder" I'm not sure if I have seen it done before as who knows what we absorb when blog hopping.
I've striped the top off of some corrugated card and painted it white I then inked up my embossing folder and run it through the big shot yeah it work ! what I mean is I got the result I was hoping for, which was creating a depressed printed image whist still leaving the texture of the of the corrugated card, then added some soft subtle inks to create a soft romantic feel of summer. I liked it so much I didn't to overload it so rooted about in my polymer clay bits box and added the bird and flowers .

I'm pleased with it though not with the photos :(
Hope you like to too and thanks for popping by :)

Oh I love that Von. It is so delicate looking. Fancy the corrugations staying place even after using a folder.

Great to have you share it at Out of a Hat this week

Love Chrissie

This is so pretty Von and I love the texture you've created with your experimental embossing. I'll have to give this new technique a go. Xx
