Venture into the Unknown

This is a venture into  the unknown as the Craft  Barn are having  an alpha challenge once a fortnight and I hope I have understood the instructions aghh as I haven't used a dictionary but a photo album I picked up at the charity shop, the  paper is a fab and bound in a way that there is room for embellishments and enough pages for the challenge, so an apt title for the first page.
The background has gone through many changes over the last week but I did start off with dylusion sprays and stencils and ended up using acrylic paints and archival inks.
The die cut letter from corrugated card are dipped into molton UTEE with a friendly plastic key and face and a shrink plastic stamp TH bird

Very nice page Von. I'm working on ideas for this one at the moment. It's such a long challenge I want to start off right or it may go adrift later. Great letters and colours

A great inky background Von and I love your chosen word. A great idea too to use a book that allows for embellishments. Xx

I love your page, seems just the ticket for the challenge to me as we don't HAVE to use a dictionary aslong as the word is prominent and yous most certainly is. Cool.

Fabulous background for the amazing letters, they look old, worn and textured. A great start to the challenges Von.
Hope you have had a good weekend.

Hi,
Great page !! love the altered letters too.
It's fine that you did not use a dictionary, as long as the letter is obvious. (maybe next time you can add the word definition to your page.. here's a little extra challenge for you ;))
Thanks for playing with us at the Craft Barn
