For this I made a sandwich with some organza and put in snippet of organza ,silks and fantasy film, then free embroidered with metalic thread , when I was happy that all was secure in the sandwhich I attacked it with the heat gun which distressed the organza on the outside and some of the fabric on the inside. I'm quiet happy with the result but I'm sure with practice it could be even better :) Mounted onto a beer mat painted with acrylic paints

Wow! This is fabulous Von. I bought some organza last week. I can see that I'm going to have to attack it with my heat gun.
xxx Hazel.
Gorgeous colours, sounds a bit scary taking a heat gun to organza but it produces a great textured piece. xx
I think I will need to try this technique and love the colours.
Cracking piece, Von, great technique xx
