Yesterday some friends and I got together for a paint fusion play and Sue bless her gave us each a frame she had crackle painted for us which turned out to be the perfect frame for my finished picture. for the background I used distress stains in fired brick and sugar spun direct to paper and a scribble of broken china I picked up from the craft mat .
Not sure if you can see it but I used a gold paint in with the green for the leaves on this atc

Oh Von, you got to tell me how you did those daisies - they are gorgeous. The Fired brick and Spun Sugar look fab together for the background - and yes, the frame is perfect.

Really beautiful and effective! I've done one stroke for years and use it on cards sometimes, buy would never have thought to combine it with stamping-pure genius!
