Hello from a wet and miserable Hampshire and I must apologise that I haven't been around much over the last couple of weeks, I have been in solitary confinement feeling very sorry for myself with a bug that's knocked me for six.
But on with the challenge which is to use Alcohol inks, there are lots of techniques which can be found on the Ranger site but I was looking for something different and found something new to me on
Roni's Blog so armed with a can of hairspray and glossy card I had to play and the effect is so different from any of the other techniques
You don't have to worry about over wetting the card as the hairspray doesn't make the paper cockle I then use purple twilight clover and butterscotch and blended by tipping the card the background stamping in Magenta and images in Archival the butterflies have been stamped on a separate piece of card and stuck on, you can't see in the photo but there is some stickles around the edge and the lower right corner.
Now whilst Iwas messing about with the hairspray I discovered it cleans rubber stamps !!!
Looking forward to seeing what you create with your Alochol inks at
