That's the theme for this week Lots todo challenge and also the Stampman who are doing a blog hop so join the fun :)
This is a mirror frame from Ikea which has been totally covered with wax stamped into with cookie cutters and alcohol inks .A no brainer says Suze .........I beg to differ but then I've not had the practice but want to play some more :)

Well what can I say I'm not adding up what I spent

Zoe and I had a great time and met Cheryl who is also on the lots to do forum.
We were also the last out of the hall as they shut the doors behind us .

A simple card

Useing one of my favourite stamps from Penny Black I have made a quick birthday card for a friend with distress inks and a fiskars punch which just happens to fit in with the challenge at Penny Black at allsorts

Monochrome in yellow

Lot to do challenge this week is monochrome,so I have used scattered straw, wild honey and mustard seed distress inks and picked out the stars and moon with oyster h20 paint.The scan really doesn't show them off at the best, and these are going in the post tomorrow for a star swap

Tuesday Taggers

I was so pleased to be asked to do a guest spot in Tuesday Taggers and the theme is Diamonds .

I've made a diamond shape double tag as for many they are the start of a long and happy life together.
The background is done with dabbers and glue to get a slightly distressed look with Viva Terra on the edges and shaded with distress inks. The birds are Personal Impressions and the sentiment from a dump bin .

Lots To Do is all Distressed

The base colours are Barn door and Honey distress inks I have then gone over it with glue and and a willow dabber the Tim Holtz tree is the embossed with vintage photo distress embossing powder and some more wild honey around the edges

A book card for Tuesday Taggers

Taken the theme literally and made a card that looks like a book.

I've used textured card and stamp the back ground with versamark, dry embossed to give the look of a book and then matted and layer the title . A great card for a man and my entry for the Tuesday Taggers challenge
