Nick Bantock

This is the first of 5 postcards made for a swap taking inspiration from the Griffin and Sabine books, mail art. I also thought it would make a good contribution to the lots to do challenge Travel

Lots todo winter challenge

Made for a friends birthday it's stamped in black archival and then coloured with distress ink, I then used a paint brush with water to lift out some of the colour and make the image look more wintery .
Thanks for looking :)

Happy new Year

Happy New Year to all who visit here :)

Now that Christmas is over my mojo has returned and I've been a busy bee :).

A member of Stampers Uk asked some while ago if I could send her some images I have of a hooded man in the woods well after some time I got round to it and while stamping them out was inspired to make another atc with the image.

I used an Adirondack ink pad stained glass, spritzed it with gold perfect pearls which caused the ink to bleed and split once dry I added more colour with chalk .
Available for swapping :)

Tim style Tags

The first 3 of 6 tags for a swap. I must admit I am finding it hard to do them in landscape which was stipulated in the swap as they are going to be turned into a book by Ali the host
I have taken my inspiration from some of the 12 tags for Christmas over the last 3 years

Fairies

The topper on this card started out as an atc for part of a fairy swap I liked it so much I made another to put on this card the backgound is the wrinkle free techique with peeled paint distress ink .

back to making cards

Using the big and juicy Vibrant with a brayer on glossy for the hen and regular card stock for the duck and hearts which is this months free stamp with Craft Stamper

Got the knitting needle out

I have always knitted ever since I was a child from Arran and fairisle to lace but I've never done it with wire before or made much in the way of jewellery, but had this urge anything to avoid making Christmas cards and once I'd started I couldn't stop lol.

I managed to sell a few to cover the cost and gave some as presents .
